Grapple is still being worked on although I played on a server with Sponge recently and it was working pretty good. There are still some glitches apparently.
Wow. I'm surprised to hear that. Instagib grapple MADE quake 3 for us. Disappointing to hear that it's not available, considering how long quakelive has been running.
Can you perhaps point me at a guide to setup an instagib rail server using the regular Q3A game? We've all still got our disks!

Not a primary/on-hand weapon but something you can use at all times, for example firing rockets while at the same time grappling all over the place.

Ah yeah, it was basically treated as another weapon for now, didnt ask if that was just while it was being developed or if it's a permanent thing.
