id's RAGE is an underrated game.

I'm currently playing through the PC version of RAGE. ($9 sale!) To my surprise, I'm really enjoying it as a single player experience. With some needed engine config tweaks, it looks amazing. Screenshot Also, I really like the AI of enemies. The animations and their audio really come together to make the feel enemies seem much more real and entertaining than most FPS fodder. The vehicle racing/combat aspect is a bit weak but it's not (as of yet anyway) a big part of the game.

While I'm only about half way through it, I recommend folks give it a look.

For a single player game, I really don't care all that much. You aren't asked to dodge extremely fast moving projectiles like in QL.

60fps is fine for singleplayer, was still a disappointment to play the game on its hardest difficulty, without using grenades, bandages, and wingstick(EZ BUTTON for consoles), to only die a few times. Was gonna mess around with the map editor that they promised was shipping with the game, still has yet to come out.

right but it's kind of the principle for me ;x, but if it was for a game I really cared for then I'd play it anyway ofc.
also it wasn't that smooth, and the game I didn't care for that much when I tried it. If it didn't have a cap, I'd play it though.

Just a MSI GTX 460 v2 1 GB, albeit overclocked and a AMD 955 CPU @ 3.8 GHz. It's a solid 60 fps at all times.
