A game update has been applied to QUAKE LIVE. An issue in the chat system has been resolved. There are no other changes as a part of this update.

Funny thing is, its always the same newbs defending ID's poor judgement about this game, same type of mediocre players that dont understand the dynamics of the q scene nor the game.

Right...the biggest issue is that you need to wait till after the initial three-map vote to vote again for your desired map (in a premium server). Really should just have the old callvote for premium servers (or make it an option for self-spawned premium servers).

Not just premium. Traditional map voting never should have been taken away. This will kill the game. Very stupid decision.
