Guess What? I just bought a pro-account so I can play with my mate on premiummaps.
Whilst I am sick of those public CA Campgrounds games, I think you should enable map voting for duel as most duelers are used to those 'regular' duel maps.

first of: i got a prem account (used to have a pro, but got no real benefits from it, now i got prem)
so let me see if i understood this, until now, all the "standard" maps were free for everyone, and the maps you chosen as packs were for Prems only (totaly agree here with, and imo you should even make standard games only max 4vs4 or so and let prem go for up 8vs8), and now all suddently you pick all the most-played maps and make them prem?
i even bet you didnt made campgrounds a Prem map because you know, a huge percentage would rage, lol, but seriously, almostlost, asylum etc, all from standard to prem, and all the least-played go as standard, to force us play some horrible maps or some maps we got tired to play since the vanilla quake 3 ...
isnt enough as PREM account, i be forced to see all the freaking adds on game, about skyrgrim and whateva else you adverting on EVERY single map (campgrounds iirc has 6 adverts panels ...), is almost a subtle brainwash, and im PREM ..., i was supose be adds-free since im paying it, and now you do this
well, i know you probably wont even bother to reaply on this threat or change your mind, but congrats on that awsome move, you just made the last decent FPS game imo go even more boring then already was

The way I see it with standard accounts you get you try the game, play some great maps and have fun (trial). If you want to become a frequent or competitive player then you are forced to pay a full copy (subscription in this case), now that you can't leech out for years.
who the hell thought that disabling map callvote was a good idea?????

Please bring back old voting system, aka ALL good maps avaliable for standard players and servers too. Not many players will fall for your trap and buy a prem or pro account just to get rid of the lesser played maps. I love this game, and I hate to see ID driving the spikes into their own coffin. It was bad enough that you had to come up with the map-restrictions standard players have to deal with.
(FYI: Im a pro subscriber, so I think that I have the right to speak as well)

I spawned a standart ca server and the given map pool is not good, player flame and quit very fast due to the map pool, on premium tier 3 no one joins.I liked the old system.Maps like campgrounds, almost lost,asylum,trinity and quarantine and hellgate must be in a ca map pool.
on ctf: courtyard,troubled water,iron works,space ctf,bloodlust ,siberia
duel:campgrounds,bloodrun,furious heights,lost world
i can choose: play ca on good maps without people or play with people on no good ca maps.Isnt ca the most played mod?There were not much player on prem servers before, i fear it will happen to public now......hope not

Maybe it would be good if max 4 standarts could join a premium server, or 1 on a duell server without invite.There is not much on premium on all mods.I like to play CA and only overkill is played there.Should be some more really good ca maps cauz is the most played mod i guess.But if premium is free some more maps would be played.CA maps must have a campgrounds spirit, but i cant explain whats the secret of this map.Good 4 rox jumpz,center, pillar, bridge,lower, mid, upper, deck. Dunno but its most played ca map.And then premium account should be dropped and pro for 2.99€ or prem user should be able to invite 3 standart player.This should give a boost to quakelive on premium server.More players would come to play i think.What do you think id?Thx 4 this great game.....
