how do i drop weapons and how do i drop flags ?

bind [key] "dropweapon"

Escape > Controls > Actions

Click the one you want to bind then press the key you want to bind it to. You may want to bind drop powerup to something too, it can really help if you give quad etc to the best shooter on your team.

But that's exactly how you do it. What Lorfa said makes no sense at all unless you're familiar with the console, and I think it was only fair to assume that someone asking such a novice question wasn't at all familiar with it. Even if this person did just want the command to bind them, I still went out of my way to answer his question and as such thought it was very rude to express individual praise to one of the replies but not the other.
