Warning about joining random pro duel servers.

Pro server owners can do what they like on their server including kicking people just because they feel like it (which is fair enough,they did pay for the privilage)
Whether this meets moral obligations of fairness is debatable......simple answer is,unless you know the server admin don`t join duel or team games on private spawned servers.

I agree completely and this also remains the case for all rest of game modes. If you bought pro - do whatever you want with your own server. Because you have privilege to do it so.

The majority do infact advocate farming duel wins by booting players off.

Seriously though it does pretty much come down to what themolester said, knowing who is reputable and who isnt BEFORE investing in a match.
Bad / frivolous modship has always existed and always will, back in the cs1.6 days I'll confess to kicking, slaying and levitating the odd player for a giggle, people will vote with their feet at the end of the day.

This is pretty much those 'evil' stats rearing their ugly head again, kicking people in this way is now actually profitable.

... unlucky for OP, shame on the unnamed server owner. Maybe there should be a change to the coding so that it doesn't get recorded as a win/loss if that does happen, although once demo's are sent we could see someone losing their $40 investment by getting banned for acting like an ass

imo ingame kick should be disabled for duel (why do you have to kick somebody u play a duel with?)

The nameless one got away with it for a few weeks reaching about 15th on the uk ladder iirc.
Hopefully people will be mindful of this in future. Most private servers seem to be unranked these days anyway which is a good thing imo, encourages people to have a go.

Abusing bugs is most certainly against the rules, so submit a demo or whatever you have to support@quakelive.com to take action against this player.

I think that this is quite clear. Report, and don't join pro duel servers again.
