G400's on amazon.com

it's gone in newer revisions of the G400, old ones still have it. i'm on my third one since launch, cable gets screwed up somehow. the one i have right now doesn't have it, but the one at launch did.



so don't install the software? it works fine without it.

You still get dodgy acceleration even without software. You have to edit registry to make a logitech feel normal. Better to just use a mouse that isn't designed for office idiots. Logitech is trash.

The funny thing is for every opinion stating Logitech is trash you can find one stating Razer is trash. I've never used a WMO but I never seem to find anyone calling that particular mouse trash. This kind of makes me want to try it out lol.

have angle snapping/prediction removed?

Logitech release the g400 with a different firmware that removed the prediction/snaping. If you go to logitech forums you can find out which g4 models have it and don't. g400 user <- . Bestbuy carries the g400 in store if you have one close. I payed 40 bucks for me and any issues I have with it, I can just exchange it for a new one @ bestbuy. Don't have to deal with logtiech csr at all, even though they are great to deal with.
