    Make sure to use a video mode that jives with your monitor aspect ratio.

    I'm on a 4:3 CRT display, if I set 16:10 I get something that looks a lot like the image you posted.

    I agree with lorfa, it's just your aspect ratio and resolution. If you continue to have issues just reset your cfg.
