..And whatever other penile referencing terminology, because we had to edit dirty words out of config files. You know, for the keeds. So now we have to at least make penile jokes to compensate for the lack.

Anyways,
What is it, what does it do, and why do people keep asking me for it?

It's a pack containing not only my config (And the comments and notes in that config are fairly extensive.) but also my hud (The latest version, at least.) and last but not least, a gamma-reset program I use when quake gets a little crash-happy and doesn't clean up after itself.

These are the things I use every day, this is how I play. This is the whole thing, scripts, cvar toggles, graphics settings, *everything*.

But it's also a framework, the configs are heavily documented inside. Even the little known cvars, the tricks and tips that would take ages to figure out and research all on your own, all in one place, just waiting for you to get your grubby little fingers all over them.

The hud is flexible, it can be configured several various ways, and its compatible with all team modes (as far as I know, if you find a problem let me know, I'll stab at it with a spork), and just like the config, what does what is fairly commented, so you should be able to turn features on and off until you have a hud you like with just a few simple edits to a single file. (or a keypress or two)

ONLY download it from here, on a forum post by me. Don't download this from some other site or let anybody 'send' it to you. Yes, there is an exe file in there, and who knows what somebody else might put in there before they 'share' it with you on a site I have no control over.

There is a readme file included in the zip file. READ IT. No, seriously. It should walk you though the basics of getting started on a new config + hud.

Minor bugfix:

For the acc-left or acc-right to update on the fly while you play, you need to bind your attack key like this:

bind mouse1 "+attack;+acc;-acc"

This will keep them updated on the fly and not just when you use the +acc command or show the scoreboard.
I seem to have forgot to put that in there, even though its bound as "+attack;" there is no "+acc;-acc" behind it.

Most people want to see my junk, they just have trouble admitting to it. The really angry ones want my junk in their trunk.

The config should work fine on any system really.. I know it works on a linux system (one of the peeps testing it before was a linux guy),there isn't any reason it /wouldn't/ work.

As for any 'mac-ism' changes you may have to make for it to be a solid 'mac' config.. no idea. Try it, who knows, it might just work out of the box.

I'm kind of curious if it DOES work out of the box on a mac.

Why not? It works. And sometimes I just want to change my character for fun without dipping off into the game menu, its good for that too.
