    Bump, I want the ability to lower the announcer volume too. And I'm still a paying customer.

    Same here... I am a paying customer and I am REALLY getting annoyed now... the announcer is much too loud and it literally drives me insane... it get's to the point that I don't want to play anymore because I am so fed up with having to listen to this guy full volume...
    this is almost worse than my tinnitus...lol...
    IT IS AN ABSOLUTE SHAME that ID does not comment on this, even if they can't or don't want to change this any time soon... but ignoring a valid customer request/question without any comment/answer is just rude and bad customer service...

    I am sorry if I sound a little harsh but I just had one or two hours of non stop announcer torture...

    You can use cg_playTeamVO "0" and cg_rewardsVO "0" to reduce some of the announcements.
