Well, not really. I can just as easily start a server on Quake 3 for FREE!Because it shows you what's available if you were considering going Pro. The original start a match features were fairly limited, with the main benefit being you could password protect your server and had admin rights on it. i.e. the sort of things you needed for cups and clan wars. Now you can pretty much do anything, replicate any devpick and come up with your own. I guess it's designed to tempt you

firefox your quake live plugin has crashed, this happens everytime when i join a game/map :S
and on swe servers i got ping 80-100 befor the update i hadd 35-45... anyone else with the same or similar problem ?

I was expecting a bit from this update, only new thing i found is "spaced" Campgrounds, yes - that`s what we need in FFA - more silly space maps with prox mines etc....
P.S. I even dont have a key bindings for trash like prox.mine, chaingun.
Sad....but at least anti-cheat you could implement in game....
