What I don't like is people hiding while their teammates fight and die. I don't care if you manage to win the round. I do care about the time I waste spectating you. Playing = fun. Spectating random noob = boring.

I'm more of one of the people who hides in various locations across the map and shoots down at the players that my team is attacking. It makes no sense to go out there and get bombarded by 2 or 3 people.

If you camp and loose, then yeah, it is bad. If you camp and win, then no problem dude.

If you get a message that you are a camper, try to stay the last alive in your team and dont do anything, just loose you will make ppl (who tryed to troll you) rage. At the end of the game, say that if they dont like your playstyle, then it is their problem

Agreed, but I am only tier 3 low 4 in CA so it's pretty good accuracy for the sv rating i'm in I would say.

Generally QL is highly anti-camp. But sometimes camping in casual FFA or CA works and can be a bit lame.

Sometimes you really should move or you will make the game less fun for you and less fun for the opponents. You may still win, but what's the point. For example occasionally in Almost Lost if I really wanted to win I would just hang around the RL and get about 12 frags in a row in less than a minute. This is actually easier now with the 8 player limit.

I've never seen people saying that if you camp and win it's okay before. Especially since people who camp often think they're heros by fragging people who've been left at 20 health thanks to the blood and sweat of their team mates. The scoring system also puts them higher.

I would rather camp and it take a minute longer for each round than go in a group of 5 and get owned in seconds scoring maybe 3 or 4 points. That is not fun at all and it will also induce players to rage at you for sucking.

Raging at players and telling them they suck gives them no confidence what so ever to even try at winning the game for their team. Seems like a few people in CA take pride in doing this.

It does make sense. Maybe you and some team mates are the ones who will do the bombarding...?

Sitting back and railing also makes sense and has its merits, but your team mates are taking the damage for you and hence your score will look better than it should. You seem to be suggesting that people should be told they are doing better than they really are so that they gain confidence. Be constructive? Yes. Deceive them into thinking they're scoring really well after camping out and taking pot shots while their opponents get hurt? Hell no.

And after all this railing then going around with LG as the hero picking up the frags of 2-4 very low opponents? Give me a break.

Try duel? CA is, as stated thousands of times, a team effort.

You win less than 50 percent of your games as a tier 3 player, yet you claim to be a lower skilled tier 4.
Actually you're not even a decent tier 3 player, certainly not ready for tier 4, yet you screw every ones games up by m king teams uneven

You have a very very low k/d ratio, wich means you are NOT good as being the one who cleans up at the end of rounds.
Ill be the first to admit. When I look at servers to join and see your name, or CampingTroll. I avoid that server. Because both of you are basicly under tiered and not team players. You play for yourself, and do it very very poorly.

In essence You screw up teams for people. Its pretty noticable even for people who gave not played with you just by looking at your stats.

You are another reason Tier 4 players ask ID to lock you out of T4. Im usually an ass when I say this. But you suck. I mean that in a nice way. I dont hate you for sucking, you just suck. I only hate you when you go to servers you dont belong in and F*%$# up teams!

The people that hide while their mates fight, hide because they don't wanna die too soon / get too few frags. They prefer to let their mates do the dying while they wait/hide. They let their mates, or leave their mates, to do the dirty work, to get less frags, to be exposed to what they hate. They don't treat others like they want to be treated. The solitaire players have minus empathy and minus sympathy OR empathy and sympathy but love for the team abuse. Or they just haven't got the skill / knowledge.

The last category of campers/hiders in CA are mates that do solitaire when they recognize or confirm that they have solitaire players on their team. This causes them to solitaire too. I belong to this group. I do team play with team mates and solitaire with solitaire mates.

I do it very poorly? Lmao.. I've never seen you once in a game. Reason being for that is you're on texas servers. I'm in Ny, va, ga servers. I am in no way undertiered I play the game as it should be. I'd be willing to 1v1 you and show you that I am an avid player. Maybe I have a low k\d ratio because I have only been playing quake for not even a year? I know people who have been playing quake since the 90s and I can beat them. Your comment is invalid. Stats are nothing as you cant compare somebody who has 14 days play time in t4 and those ones who have 2 months+

Only problem with that is I don't have everything on the maps memorized and what the time is on respawn for quad\weps. If it were not for that I would. :L
