Hell yes I care. I started playing Quake Live like two weeks ago (after playing 10 years Unreal Tournament), and Medals and accuracy are an indicator for my success (not my overall skill though). I only use the railgun and rocketlauncher at the moment, and I use them both highly accurately (well I am still getting used to the railgun, got only 41% accuracy for now). I never do blindshots with the rocketlauncher and I don't rocketjump (I am not playing Duel or CA anyway at the moment) so my accuracy isn't negatively affected. Next weapons I'll use are the machinegun, shotgun and lightning gun.
I also only play CTF-Fallout Bunker, because one can frag pretty accurately with both the railgun and rocketlauncher on this map.

How you get into Quake? I mean 10 Years Unreal!
Because all Unreal Tournament's after the good ol' UT99 sucked in my opinion. I played UT2003 for a while, but in the end I played 10 years UT99. And now, after all this years, it's finally deadSo few players, so few servers. Now Quake Live will do it for me!
Actually, 6 or 7 years ago, I played Quake 3 Arena for 3 months or so but switched back to UT99 again.
