go in the add/remove programs, or Uninstall Program on Vista/Win7 and remove the Quake Live Plug-in. be sure to keep the files and configs.. and come back to QL home page re-dl the plugin and install. should fix everything right up.

Yep. Mac Firefox. Been a banner week for Mac users here at QL. Why would they revert to an older plugin?

    Plugin version too new

When I try to login to Quake Live it says "
    Plugin Version Too New

You are running a version of the plugin that is newer than the one on this server.

Please uninstall your plugin before continuing...

Same thing here, on OS X. No mention of how to uninstall the plugin, what it is named, where it is stored, etc. Just that I need to uninstall it.... meh

I can't even find the plugin. Spotlight shows it in Library/Internet Plug-Ins but it is not there?

    A few threads merged.

This has been looked into, and people on IRC with the problem are now reporting it works for them.

If you are getting this error message still, please uninstall the plugin and then return to the site again.

Even if you have tried this before unsuccessfully, please do it again now.
