Payment via iDeal

I would like to subscribe but with the current payment options I can't. A payment method like iDeal would be, well, ideal. I imagine there are quite a few europeans who would pay up if it was available.

I'm a Euro and it's the first time ever I hear about iDeal. To me it looks like a miniature version of PayU (ever heard of that?) Surely there are more efforts like that but I'd be surprised if id Software heard of either of them or are willing to make business with them.

I checked and I was mistaken. It is primarily for Dutch consumers, but it is provided quite a bit throughout Europe. Either way, for me personally it is too much of hassle to use the available methods. I just want to support the game, but I do want it to be easy. I'm definately not demanding anything, just trying to give ID a heads-up about the existence of iDeal.

Yeah. When the big deal with PayPal is not happening due to requirements id is not able to fulfill (public financials or something), I don't get why they won't launch a small company like qlaccounts.com just for payment purposes.

Or, just resell tokens so the community can start an own account project.

I'm actually asking myself, why isn't there any other payment methods? For those who don't have a Visa / Mastercard it's... well, annoying. I'd even pay more for it, I don't care.

Any idea if that actually can happen? Like Paypal, moneybookers or simply bank transfers, I don't really know? Just add something new ffs :<
