The tier system is **, but for every reason the OP is whining for.

He openly states he wants to be in a lower tier, simply to swing his e-p3n15 at people of less skill.

If you don't see, or understand the mentality, then you are as "disadvantaged" as the OP.

I personnally like it, it keep me away from having to fight T3 all the time by creating a special label for T4 games. Also, being sent to a higher tier should be a good thing, not a bad. You learn by eating the dust, not by pwning noobs 60/0. In fact, I would even go as far as to say that playing against lower skilled people decrease your own skills since it slowly affect the way you approach situation and make you less careful / alert.

Why are you talking about CA when you don't even play CA?

Much of the tier issue could be solved by putting people in Tier 1 or 2 by default. Tier 3 is a mess because it's not the case.

PS. Your skill level is not based on wins/losses. It's based on how many points per minute you get compared to the rest of your team.

It probably wouldn't. If the skill matching is worth anything, those who already have some experience would get bumped up to higher tiers within a few games.
