Same here. I guess he could be updating the site. He does come poke around here sometimes, maybe he will see this and answer.
p.s. gotta love the HTTP Error 403.6 - Forbidden error

The site has been down for about a month, which is really sad. Sean just disappeared a few months ago and let his site go down. Nobody knows why he left, or where he went, or if he plans on coming back. He and I were in the middle of a project when he disappeared, but i didn't really think anything of it at the time.
I see him on Skype and MSN all the time, but he never responds and I would feel like a dick if I spammed him until he replied. So I don't.

Not to bring up old topics, but have you heard anything from Sean? I was wondering if in any way there was any more info on a replacement site or anything...I miss that site.

Spoke to Sean about this awhile back, the hosting was getting to be quite a burden so he took it down. No mention of a replacement or anything like that either.

I used to admin for own-age a little in it's closing years. I enjoyed it and everyone I was working with but I could tell as soon as I started that I was the only one pushing to really keep the site alive. Like Kitten said, Sean sort of disappeared but it was a long time coming. He's moved on in his personal life, for good reasons, and the website was shut down because it was becoming a huge expense that nobody could afford. I would have paid to keep it up but unfortunately I am barely making enough money to live let alone pay for the site.
If you guys want to see some of my work I'm currently in a music video contest for Sigur Ros. Here's a link where you can see the video:

If you like it I would love it if you could support my video and vote for it in the contest. It could make a huge difference in my life! I am still very much interested in Quake videos to this day and if I'm ever in a stable financial situation I would pay for own-age.com to come back. If that's not possible I would definitely have a new site made in it's place. I want to keep the essence of what own-age was but improve the functionality of it.
