    maybe is as well place for absolutely fresh maps players can make some and if they crap kick the map in next update ,every month or 2, new map if is good stays, if not bb

    I`d like to see some of the Quake Arena Arcade maps. A lot of people dislike the idea of playing Quake on XBox (myself included) or cannot afford one, etc. so they would be valuable additions imo to either QL or just PC Quake III. Also, id already owns them 100%, so id can probably get them out the door a lot faster than if they had to contract authors, etc. Plus they`re id software maps, so you can expect quality.

    A pair of fortresses on the sides of cliffs. Seems like a pretty decent CTF map which would work a lot better on the PC for casual matches.

    The most popular of the QAA maps is Cliffside it seems, so it'd probably be the first one to add if any are upcoming. It looks neat too, the platforms floating in the clouds. Roid Rage is a map a particular dev seems to find interesting (plus we could always use more good space maps) and Catalyst is an open arena with a great "Epicenter" aesthetic.

    Symmetry is an open, medium-smallish gothic map which could be good for 2v2 CA or small FFA`s. Hazmat has a clean tech theme and seems to have a bit of everything in it. Plastered is a tiny arena which is again a candidate for 2v2 CA and maybe casual duels.

    Intrusion is done in a similar style to Hazmat. Forlorn looks neat, quite open and might be popular for CA / FT matches. Gantry is one I particularly think looks awesome, it`s Terminal Heights on steroids. The Ankh is rather visually unusual and might need a bit of cleaning up / a retexture to come up to QL quality imo, but the design of it is unique amongst space maps.

    A lot like Vortex Portal, except the flags seem to be in the middle of a large platform and attack-able from all sides. Thus, defense will actually have to put in effort to defend the base, rather than camp and snipe. Definitely remove the Prox Launcher though. Might also want to replace LG with CG, as the LG on almost any space map spells chaos. (CG is fine as it has a wind-up)

    Cliffside but in CTF form. Seems pretty good.

    And before anyone whines "but I don`t like / want this, etc." you don`t have to play it. That is what F2 is for in games. And if they get passed, deal with it. We get ticked off enough when your votes for dm6 and other tournament maps get passed. But there`s several people that want them besides me, so why can`t we both get what we want instead of trying to say only certain things should be put in?

    I would like to play CTF maps in CA too. Every map should be voteable on CA premium server!

    The best and most fun would be completely new CTF maps but its really hard to make a good working CTF map and since there are still a few top CTF maps from q3 which arent added to QuakeLive yet, i agree on going for these 3 maps if ur planning on adding new CTF maps to QuakeLive.

    wcp17 doesnt fit that good wcp18 will be fine for 4v4 i think. i suggest wcp14, was also played very frequently and its small enough for 4v4. actually the big 3 pu maps wont fit in ql 4v4 they are to big. It should be possible to cap in lets say under 15 sec. Think the shortest cap and number of pus say a lot how playable the map will be. And ofc pls do not put nail gun or proximity mines or minigun in the map!

    *chaingun (not minigun) but I agree. I can live with nailgun as it's not as bad as prox or chain (because prox is just spammed all around a map and chaingun is fairly difficult to beat even with rockets vs chaingun (at least with doubler ))

    As for the maps I have no clue what they are :P

    @McGee's earlier comment (3 above mine): Reflux *is* a new map for the Quake games...

    I don`t think there is a map "too big" for QL imo. QL needs to have arenas of different sizes, varieties, etc. or everything becomes stale. Yeah there should be a limit to size, but I think Distant Screams serves as a good "boundary" for that limit - anything bigger than that map may not be good but that is just my opinion.

    As for the chaingun - Yeah it is pretty powerful if someone can get it wound up all the way, but the best way to beat it is to frag them before they can get it to full-speed. In most cases, keeping your distance and spamming PG bolts to obscure the attacker's vision works well.
