What I did was that I turned off chat beep and removed chat area from my HUD. Works every time.

That only affects the pop-up notifications that come up from the bottom right.

anyone that votes No or I Dont Care obviously hasnt got many Friends. its the only reason you cannot care, unless you lag like crazy, there is that reason too ofc but this would be brilliant especially for Clan Matches and more serious stuff. i've lagged because of it so many times for a split second and been shot if that was in a Cup Final for a match winning point i would be slightly annoyed but even in everyday gaming its starting to annoy now. if we could disable it totally on a button whenever we liked that would be really amazing.
