Can't open Console!

Well, this somehow pretty annoying...I'm playing Quake on a Mac and my console just won't open. Even if try it with ctrl + alt + ~ (where the hack is ~*on a mac in the in game) - i know otherwise is ~ = alt + n -

Pls someone help!

There are threads like this all over the forum though, use google or maybe the forum search (although the forum search isn't terribly good).

When I search things like that in the forum, all i got is lots of beginner's tutorials of how getting started and how to normally open the console. but i didn't find things like that. :/ sry

What layout do you use?

Console is turned off by default.. The easiest way to enable it is..

Start a practice game.. Hit your esc button to bring up game settings/ advanced/ game options/ enable console..

that's all folks..
