DevPick July 8-11: InstaGib Clan Arena
We're back from the 4th of July weekend, and so are the DevPicks. This weekend's feature presentation is the ever popular InstaGib Clan Arena. All of the one shot Railgun and Gauntlet kills you love, in convenient round-based elimination form. This weekend's DevPick is just one of the variations of games you can create using Start a Match, found only in our Pro accounts.
InstaGib Clan Arena matches are now up worldwide and will be available all this weekend. Have fun!

I suggested this along time ago and i've ran a server and tested it with 4on4 on various maps and for those that love insta team games but dont fancy iCTF or cant play iFT so easily, iCA is great fun for sure and i think could become competative if it became a standard gametype all could play. i think it would be alot more popular than iTDM and iFFA anyway. I also like the fact that you havent messed with anything and kept it simple

insta needs railjumping. iCA is a good idea, but its it will fail at tier 4. for now it should stay a devpick
reason it will fail at top tiers is because the railgun reload is too long for a CA game where
1 shot is a kill. So you could kill someone, but only die to the fact that your railgun was still reloading
so you couldn't get a shot off.
Anyway, i've been here since closed beta and I've been waiting for fastrail (equal to rocketlauncher), railjump(equal to rocketlauncher), and non-instant flag return. QL Insta = slow
atleast do a devpick for railjumping, so I can use the cvar offline to practice with
