    helpfull & easy bindings..

    ..hopefully =)
part 2 is in post #5
    IMPORTAND POST #10!

this kicks all bots in a practismatch:
    bind F4 "kick all"
this changes color of keel. im not using it actually, but sometimes when i change the grafik, keel gets reseted to default dark green, then its good to just klick f5 and have shiny frog-green keel:
    bind F5 "vstr keel1 "
    seta keel1 " cg_enemyUpperColor 0x00ff00ff ; cg_enemyLowerColor 0x00ff00ff ; cg_enemyHeadColor 0x00ff00FF ; bind f5 vstr keel2 "
    seta keel2 " cg_enemyUpperColor 0xffffffff ; cg_enemyLowerColor 0xffffffff ; cg_enemyHeadColor 0xff00ffFF ; bind f5 vstr keel3 "
    seta keel3 " cg_enemyUpperColor 0xffff00ff ; cg_enemyLowerColor 0xffff00ff ; cg_enemyHeadColor 0xffff00FF ; bind f5 vstr keel4 "
    seta keel4 " cg_enemyUpperColor 0x00ff00ff ; cg_enemyLowerColor 0xffffffff ; cg_enemyHeadColor 0xffff00FF ; bind f5 vstr keel5 "
    seta keel5 " cg_enemyUpperColor 0x00ff00ff ; cg_enemyLowerColor 0xffffffff ; cg_enemyHeadColor 0xffffffFF ; bind f5 vstr keel1 "
this is for changing weapon from hidden to visible. in ca i play hidden, but in ffa and ft i want weapons and weaponbar visible:
    bind f6 vstr weap1
    seta weap1 "cg_gunx 0 ; cg_guny 0 ; cg_gunz 0 ; cg_weaponbar 1 ; cg_drawgun 2 ; bind f6 vstr weap0"
    seta weap0 "cg_gunx -10 ; cg_guny 3 ; cg_gunz -8 ; cg_weaponbar 0 ; cg_drawgun 2 ; bind f6 vstr weap1"
not using this one, it changes from high textures to zero textures. (u could also change r_mapoverbrightbits 1/2 and other r_stuff with vid_restart)
    bind f7 "vstr pic1"
    seta pic1 " r_picmip 0 ; vid_restart ; bind f7 vstr pic2 "
    seta pic2 " r_picmip 16 ; vid_restart ; bind f7 vstr pic1"
some maps r dark, some r bright (didnt want to waste 2 buttons for this):
    bind f8 "vstr gamma1"
    seta gamma1 "r_gamma 0.8 ; bind f8 vstr gamma2"
    seta gamma2 "r_gamma 0.9 ; bind f8 vstr gamma3"
    seta gamma3 "r_gamma 1.0 ; bind f8 vstr gamma4"
    seta gamma4 "r_gamma 1.1 ; bind f8 vstr gamma5"
    seta gamma5 "r_gamma 1.2 ; bind f8 vstr gamma1"
iirc u have to manually create "screenshots" and "demos" folders in baseq3 (?):
    bind f9 "record"
    bind F10 "stoprecord"
    bind F12 "screenshotJPEG"
    very important, mute-button:
    bind m "vstr vol0 "
    seta vol0 "s_volume 0.0 ; cg_crosshairHitStyle 1 ; bind m vstr vol1 "
    seta vol1 "s_volume 0.1 ; cg_crosshairHitStyle 1 ; bind m vstr vol0 "
this changes customhuds on the fly, just rename the hud.cfg:
    bind l "vstr hud1"
    seta hud1 "cg_hudfiles ui/hud1.cfg ; loadhud ; bind l vstr hud2"
    seta hud2 "cg_hudfiles ui/hud2.cfg ; loadhud ; bind l vstr hud3"
    seta hud3 "cg_hudfiles ui/hud3.cfg ; loadhud ; bind l vstr hud1"
    showing accuracity:
    bind o +acc
    bind END "ragequit"
    teamsaying:
    bind 4 "say_team quad soon "
often players quit/connect and teams get unbalanced:
    bind 0 "say teams"
lately changed my weaponbindings like this: sg,rg,rg,lg on e,r,f,c. these 4 r the main weapons, and for me this is the fastest way to switch (but hard to re-learn after a year ^^ )
    evrything very simple stuff, so,
    hf

It pops out a few extra lines of chat history when you hold it down.

    part 2

sometimes one changes stuff in autoexec, so..
    bind . "exec autoexec.cfg"
edit: i deleted alias-stuff, search for it in other threads! im not using it any more, and stick to one sens for all weapons, no changing on bindings.

yep, i have this bound to "end". maybe combine it with some chat message, a final and informative statement of your view to the match you are leaving? =)

    some stuff for training:

    bind PAUSE "devmap campgrounds ; g_gametype 0 "
    bind , "god ; give all ; cg_speedometer 3 "
pause starts a training match ffa on dm6
, will switch to god mode and full ammo and speedometer

for changing the gamemode write in console: g_gametype 0-9 ; map_restart

No need to combine it with chat message, coz chat message will override ragequit announce:
    I've seen things like:

    qop ragequitted
    bind END "quit'

That's not the best way to write scripts. Instead of
    Code:
    bind f6 vstr weap1
    seta weap1 "cg_gunx 0 ; cg_guny 0 ; cg_gunz 0 ; cg_weaponbar 1 ; cg_drawgun 2 ; bind f6 vstr weap0"
    seta weap0 "cg_gunx -10 ; cg_guny 3 ; cg_gunz -8 ; cg_weaponbar 0 ; cg_drawgun 2 ; bind f6 vstr weap1"
    you should do
    Code:
    bind f6 vstr tgl_weap
    seta tgl_weap vstr weap0
    seta weap1 "cg_gunx 0 ; cg_guny 0 ; cg_gunz 0 ; cg_weaponbar 1 ; cg_drawgun 2 ; seta tgl_weap vstr weap0"
    seta weap0 "cg_gunx -10 ; cg_guny 3 ; cg_gunz -8 ; cg_weaponbar 0 ; cg_drawgun 2 ; seta tgl_weap vstr weap1"
You define one var that gets bound (tgl_weap), then assign different values to it whenever it's vstr'ed. That way you don't have to edit multiple locations when you change the key binding.
