yeah but it would save general discussions from being cluttered up with inane crap from the same 3-4 people.
    Easy avoidance and all that..

    **** that.
Well, who cares what the off topic threads turn into.. I would just prefer a whole different section where people can do that. People are going to be annoying and have personal conversations regardless, so why not give an area for it to be allowed, where it doesn't bother the ones who don't care much to see those type of threads?

I've been watching the amount of people posting random threads grow! That's why I finally decided to just bring up the (possible) need for an Off Topic forum instead =p It will make even easier avoidance of such things.

I think we need an off-topic forum too. why not letting people who know each other through the game share some other joy in life than just quake related stuff...

Well since a music thread is apparently an infraction worthy useless post (which was continued from Beta), might as well. Now go delete the Pics of Quakers thread, since its useless as well. lmfao.

That's right, every community needs an off-topic section. There's a bunch of people together with a common interest and passion, we need someplace to discuss other, unrelated stuff.

Beta didn't have one, that's ok, it's just a test phase, people should play instead of talking, we could say.
But this is retail now. The community is growing.
