    Lightbulb Off-Topic Forum

    How about you create an Off-Topic forum?

    1. Humans are social creatures and should not be so drastically limited to what they are allowed to speak about; those that are not very sociable or friendly can stick to the other forums ;]

    2. People would have the option to speak about other interesting/fun topics outside of QL.

    3. It would create a better sense of community; our common interest is what brings us together, but it would be nice to share more interests (IE: music, art, news).

    4. People who are annoyed about all of the random threads would be able to avoid seeing such threads.



    It's a win/win for people for and against it! You can further see this by reading some of the posts throughout this thread (disregard posts going off-topic =p).

    Yes, do this.

    The General Discussion forum is described as 'Discuss QUAKE LIVE'. I don't care about your gaming desktops, your lame cars, your ugly faces, you attention *****s, all you sad guys fawning all over the attention *****s, Roger Rabbit, etc. And slapping 'Quake Live' in front of something doesn't make it Quake-related either, e.g. Quake Live dating, or any other dumb **** like that.

    Yeaah.. and people can post about music, videos, etc.. without cluttering the General Discussion forum even more
