Linux Not enough Bots in Practice Match

At first: I am sorry for my very old school english :-)

My system: Kubuntu 11.04 64.bit and Firefox 5.0

When I start a Practice Match with 8 Players then are in the game only 3, 4 or 5 Players.

I see for a short time this message:

was kicked by invalid name

I cannot added Bots in the game too. They disapear with the same message.

I hope you can help me.

I see the " was kicked for invalid name" message way too often during practicing with bots. In fact, I don't remember finishing a match -- for a minute or three everything seems fine, then all of a sudden the bots disappear. Match forfeited. Left alone...
Can anyone advise?

Problem with name in your config would kick YOU out of servers, not your bots... At least I've never heard about this bot problem before, even from people who were having invalid name problems. Must be something different.

Could that be the alternate names for bots? (If there are any; I remember Gladiator for Q2, which is sort of a pre-pre-predecessor of these bots, had alt names that they reacted to in chats...)

First I thought you were joking, but... tried to let them play alone (me spectating - boring as soda) and voila - although a few got kicked right after they were loaded, the rest finished the match. Next game I joined, the same thing happened - all of them made it until the end, no ragequitting on their part I wonder if yesterdays update has got something to do with it...

However - regardless whether practicing with bots makes sense at all - the problem still persists: Choose lets say 8 players for a practice match, fill the remaining slots with random AI players, and there's at least one, if not two, getting kicked for invalid name even before warmup... And no, it's not about two instances of the same bot, last time I watched two Sorlags happily fragging each other...

I've got the same problems, it happens after the bot(s) try to change the skilllevel.
