This weekend's DevPick is a combination of two great tastes that taste great together: QuadHog FFA, and Fast Weapon Switch. Last seen in March and November respectively, these two were popular favorites.
For those uninitiated in the art of the Quad Hog, it is a highly-competitive modification of Free For All that essentially plays like a one vs. all or King of the Hill. The only way to score points is to kill the Quad carrier, or get Quad Damage kills yourself. Friendly fire is off, however you may still want to play greedy and take advantage of splash damage to blast someone away from an item you want.
Fast Weapon Switch is pretty self-explanatory, however it opens up the potential for some very vicious combos: track someone with the Lightning Gun and then switch to your Rail and finish them off.
Of course, Pro Subscribers have the option of launching any kind of match with Fast Weapon Switch, and support for launching Quad Hog should come in a future update, so be sure to check that out if you're interested!
