System: Xubuntu Linux 9.10, Roccat Kova+

    Old Values:
    seta in_dgamouse "1"
    seta in_mouse "1"
    seta sensitivity "0.3"
    seta cl_mouseaccel "1.2"
    seta cl_mouseaccelstyle "1"
    seta cl_mousesenscap "2"
    seta cl_mouseacceloffset "4"
    seta m_pitch "0.02"
    seta m_yaw "0.02"
    seta m_filter "0"

Gonna disable accel until there seems to be some more explantion as to how to fix it.

PS: Setting m_cpi to 3200 results in very slow mouse-movement that doesnt seem to be changeable with /sensitivity.

your old settings there have very weak low power acceleration. it converts to approximately:

    m_cpi 3200
    sensitivity 7.6
    cl_mouseAccel 5.9e-7
    cl_mouseSensCap 50
    cl_mouseAccelOffset 0
    cl_mouseAccelPower 1.2
    m_pitch 0.022
    m_yaw 0.022

there's no exact conversion from style 1, but this is an approximate one. as you can see your accel is very small (due to the low power) - that's why you're having trouble reproducing it.

Maybe we can finally get a detailed explanation of how cl_mouseaccelloffset is actually used? prior it felt like it was on a scale to 10 so 7 would equate to kick in once moving at 70% of maximum or something.. What exactly is it meaning? how does it relate to cpi/sensitivity? Oh and like everyone else.. my mouse is jacked - its slow and accel kicks in HARD and unpredictably even with accel offset at 40

previously with style 1 it wasnt really an offset - there was no point where it 'kicked in'. now the offset is a proper offset.

if you're using the correct m_cpi, then the offset is in units of cm/s.

Haha this reminded me of the southpark episode about measuring ***** size.
So... who has the biggest mouse acceleration around here? >:3
    Quake. Just talk it.

for my razer salmosa mouse on the low end accel sens i landed on these numbers:

    sensitivity 15 // 15.38267716535433
    cl_mousesenscap 20 // 20.78740157480315
    m_cpi 800
    cl_mouseaccel .014 //.0138582677165354
    cl_mouseAccelPower 2
    m_pitch -.024
    m_yaw .022

I've concluded for myself too much settings makes for less play and invoked KISS.
    Keep it simple stupid principle.
So i will only use sensitivity command, m_yaw and m_pitch. **** this mathematical pixel perfectionism horsecrap.
