Your hand is a weight you're accustomed to though, and the muscles in your wrist/hand/arm all take care of it constantly. What's foreign is adding weight to it from an instrument.

You can test the difference yourself, just put a heavy object in your hand and run it over a table as if it were a mouse, and then try a very light object. The difference in feel is quite large.

Kind of a weird comparison, but in competitive swimming (Which I'm no longer a part of, since I graduated several years ago from high school), swimmers will practice using drag suits, which basically are like swimsuits that act as a parachute (for the water). As time goes on, you'll be used to the drag from the suit and when you remove it for competition, you'll end up going faster because you don't have the added drag.

As stated above, your arm/wrist is completely used to the weight/mass/whatever of your hand. While the hand *is* heavier/has more mass than the mouse, the mouse will be the only thing that is different from normal.

    Cat's right. meow!!! . . . . . . . (teflon on teflon is nonsense tho [prove me wrong])

problem is as long as u don't do a frankenmouse or built ur own (pointing to bst) u'll properly neva get the perfect lightweight mouse for all ur needs.

and if it's not possible u'll have to do compromises.

for me at least, my deathadder is in perfect need.

    (+) imo:
    - perfect shape for my inbetween claw-palm grip + big hands
    - two side buttons that are well placed (built quality of these side buttons are rly high - omron switches as far as i can remember)
    - super nice responsive mouse1/2
    - still has one of the best sensors on the market
    - overpolling rate can be set to ur preference
    - has more than enuff dpi/cpi for years an' years to come (pointing to screen resolutions)
    - never rly experienced +/- accel with it
    - decent built quality [(but depends on the deathadder realeases) dunno about the 2013 one yet - but synapse is a nogo for me atm]
    - no angle schnappi schnapp ^^

    (-) imo:
    - not that lightweight

    (=) imo:
    - still has this annyoing mouse-wheel bug (i don't use mousewheeling ingame tho, just mouse3)
    - lod (can be fixed to have lower lift off d's than any other mouse on the market and still provides perfect control speeds - at least i can't get the mouse to malfunction)
    - lod fix needs to be renewed from time to time
    - can be frankenmoused to a kinzuadder
    - price doesn't matter for me, at least not until >=101 euros

so it concludes me to the ez math: 9wins over 1win even if the most crucial part of the argue in this thread is lightweight.

general suggestion of me if u like the da series ... get as much blackadder's as u can - as long as u can get them! (for backup/raging reasons)

other mices i can suggest - but depends on your personal preference and which compromises u'll be more suited to:

    - wmo 1.1/1.1a (discontinued)
    - ime 3.0 (discontinued)
    - kinzuv1 (discontinued)
    - zowie am's
    - zowie ec evo's
    - zowie fk (dunno anything about it yet - cat has it - ask him [seems like a kinzuv1 with sidebuttons just from the lookings])
    - logitech mx518
    - logitech mx300/310/500/510 (discontinued)
    - logitech g400
    - razer salmosa (discontinued)
    - razer da's (not the 2013 edition [yet??])

    other suggestion's:

    - start to read http://www.overclock.net/
    - start to read more overall ( don't tl/dr all day long : P )
    - start to buy and try and buy and try . . . . . . . . . . . (this fookin' doom loop is endless for perfectionists)
    - appreciate the effort ppl put into this game and the ppl that are trying to keep this game alive (if not - play something else and don't waste our time when we only want to *pew* *pew*)
    - support the ppl/stuff u like/love. don't rip off...
    - start to listen to ppl that obviously know better than u
    - don't look down on ppl that r looking up to u
    - be more open for other's opinion's and don't moan all over the place like some ppl usually do ( i like trolls tho : ] )
    - troll more........

    *pew* *pew*

    bye

    p.s.: happy now 'Cat' 'Rimmer7' Mr. Sir ? : D

No, I really don't know what "pove" is. "Proof" doesn't make contextual sense. "POV" is a non-sequitur. You kinda lost me there.

What? You want proof that the coefficient for teflon on teflon is 0.04?
