Volcanic - Quake Live Community Frag Movie

Alright, first off I would like to tell you why this took so long... I had to keep up with Quake too, if not I would have been terrible.

There might be a few flaws, for example... timing is off with the music and the player names are out of position. I can't fix these, It shouldn't affect the movie at all really but sorry there is nothing I could do to fix it on this slow computer (everything lags in the program and seems synced).

felt kinda like a momentum remake, and if i were to judge it like that, it wasnt very good.

it had some awesome frags, the quality/editing werent too bad (some camera movements seemed like they were done by hand too much, and therefore really jumpy etc.).

the frag messages were way too big and ugly. they took up half the screen and got in the way too much. it bothered me. fov was a tiny bit low for my tastes as well.

wasnt a waste of time though, and i enjoyed it, so thats all that matters.

As for the bundle of space frags, I agree there was a bit too much but where would we get all our ***!? frags from? :P

space maps pretty much only have air rockets. theres a lot more impressive styles of frags out there (double rails, pixel rails, plasma carries, pummels etc. etc.)

On a serious note, as being mentioned above this movie feels a lot like any other movie out there. Which is not a bad thing considering this is your first.

Things to improve:
Flow - More often than not the video doesn't keep up with the music intensity, feels out of tune.
Custom frag messages - Not a bad idea, really, but should be used (or not used) consistantly.
Config - Should also be more consistant. Some parts have different post-processing settings.
Overused music - Self-explanatory. Not saying you should go for absolutely unique feel every time, but at least avoid using something that was in another frag vid.
