    Works fine for me here too, Win7 Pro x86_64.

    Also works fine in Archlinux, which makes me happy.

    His post was still vague. After he upgraded to windows 7 it just doesn't work. That's not a reason. It works on Windows 7 so w7 couldn't be the problem. It's something else.

    A huge number of quakelive users are using windows 7, or windows 7-x64

    I myself have been playing quakelive on win7-x64 since win7 was a beta itself let alone quakelive.

    Detail exactly what happens when you try to play the game and your problem can be fixed.

    Probably because we have computer knowledge and can narrow down the problem. Searching this forum and google helps a ton btw.
