Recently found this glitch on overlord, makes for some pretty fun times

2) my eyes are playing tricks on me: I swear I've seen at least three (3!) people in the same server playing Overlord. Is that another glitch?

Happens in most maps if you land on the right spot. There's just a lot more in OverLord therefore easier to find. There's one in Quarantine just like this, though easier to do.

I can assure you this glitch can't be done on Quarantine or "most maps".

-edit- apparently you can but this specific glitch requires a different input then the Quarantine/trinity/etc.. maps =p

actually there was a video on youtube in which a guy showed stuff with this technique, and there were a lot of spots that worked!! pity i don't know which video it was. i remember glitches like that in quarantine, campgrounds, trinity as well

The only way this worked was with a map specific powerup, so that's pretty surprising you can have this exact same effect on maps lacking it. Interesting!

Atleast it makes Overlord a little more enjoyable to "play" =p

Nice find ! Anyone know what's actually going on ? Looks like you need a certain quota of rockets before the targets gets fired ??

okay, so the input seems to be different from the glitch i am thinking about. but the output would be same : being launched through the map it really looks pretty similar..

There are plenty of Quake Live videos out there. Could you link us to videos with glitches in maps such as Campgrounds, Trinity and Quarantine?
