Do u have other pk3s files in your ql folder? sometimes quake will suffer from too many of those...

In Win7 the cfgs should be located in the directories: C:\Users\*username*\AppData\LocalLow\id...

I guess id won't tell any details, otherwise everybody would act/play only in that way, which could lead to a very different gameplay....could...

or maybe u should just try to improve your movement in the q3a-mod defrag, u got many possibilities there, so it's a bit easier to master cjing, strafing, skimming, aircontrol and stuff like that....

perhaps you have too many pk3s in the base folder...
