saturday, lunch time.. and its been like this all week basically - not a single euro ctf server going on. the rotation is really kicking in now ^^
maybe there are lower tier severs i dont see, but...
the income of this game is probably pocket money for carmacks daughters tbh.

it doesnt work like this for other modes, how about the premium modes, which are never in use unless there is a sampler? if you play those 1on1...
the why is pretty obvious, because they wanted to give an incentive to play on premium servers. search the forum for the premium pak 13 update.

well you can spawn ft, but only as premium mode to join for others.
and during this event it wasn't possible to host it for free users. the mode definitely would be in use if it were free to play...
no the way it works is that the euro scene is pretty filled up, as per usual when they had notions like this goin' on.

this is completely wrong, the freemium weekend is a compensation for all paying users, which also serves the purpose to show u how...

you know, theres enough pro users around who spawn servers for their own purposes and likings, many of which are using up all good resources of content that there is. so i really dont get all this...
