i sometimes see red railguns... and if i'm not mistaken, unreal (and/or Q3?) had some cheat or extra weapon where the red rail killed instantly and the green just hurts like hell?!

Just tried practise and even here i couldn't select brimstone abbey.
I've played this map 8 times in the first week(s) using the match browser. Now it seems filtered out or something.

I started playing last month and almost all the time the maps i was playing were 'Brimstone Abbey', 'Hidden Fortress', etc.. A few weeks ago the maps 'suddenly' changed.. now it's Industrial...

no way to rocket jump in like a duel? By changing some default settings somehow?

I've been a long term fan of Q1.. Rocket jumping was like eating chips.. i can't stop doing it!

Is there some server setting or mod that is being played where you can rocket jump without setting...

I've known the existance of QL for a while now but just recently joined. It's the only game that can get my adrenaline going... I'm not even interested in the better looking boring alternatives.

@ANDRAS: I've been playing Q1 again since 3y ago with some guy at work that out skilled me in every way.. he won every match.. sometimes 100 kills versus 1 or 2.. but you really need to cherish those...

I've just joined QL but i have a long gaming history behind me.. wolfenstein 3D, doom, quake, hexen, duke.. I even got my ass kicked in quake 1 (or was that Q2?) online over a modem!
