my brother and a good friend of mine play quakelive. but most of the people i knew playing quake (around 4 or so) have quit due to RL and getting older

id should just add a tab for new players called "placement matches" with the notion that u need to be placed in the right tier and should expect to loose a lot in the beginning.. i think SC2 has an...

if u "camp" and deal a lot of dmg every round it should be ok, but if you let your team down you should rethink your playstyle..
i prefer rushing in and dealing a lot of dmg, taking 1-2 enemies out,...

phew, sorry mate, i ran out of ideas. maybe it's a routing issue from your ISP to the QL server, but not much you can do if it is.

what ISP are you using? try http://speedtest.net/ and http://pingtest.net/
are you using WIFI? try using a cable instead

have you enabled timenudge? if so people see you "lagging" when they spec you, but that's just a "bug", ingame it should be fine...

imo the quake community is not so bad. ever played League of Legends?

some people just have a crappy connection or no servers in their country. i wouldn't punish them for this tbh.. let 'em also have fun in QL!

i have a razer copperhead, very satisfied with it. but i think you can't really go wrong with recent mouses of different companies, be it logitech, MS, razer or whatever is out there..
