I agree with two previous posters - the CM Storm Sentinel was a BAD mouse. Mine went down after six craptastic months. I like my G500 now (even if Lorfa says it's too heavy).

After some QL site downtime earlier today (lots of servers disappeared for a short time), I am now logging in automatically again with QL as my Firefox homepage.

All seems to be well now. Hoo-rah!

I hope this is temporary - nearest server is Dallas! Unable to start my usual matches this morning. Yikes!

Deleting the quakelive.com cookies didn't work for me. Updating Firefox also didn't do the trick. Sigh - but thanks for helping.

What about the weight of your own hand/wrist bearing down on the mouse, huh? Most hands are big, heavy hunks of meat compared to the mouse.

Agreed Corrosion and Sorrow are maybe the best of the bunch, but there are classics in there too, like Toxicity, Trinity and Vertical Vengeance.

I should point out this once-a-month map rotation...

QL is fine as it is for me. I'll opt for fast gameplay and high framerate over graphics. Miss the Q3 gibs a lot, though.

As a sort of workaround, I now have set my max player limit to 12. This will allow me to see my own in-progress matches in FFA with "Any Game State" selected in the match browser with 1 to 11 players...

If I choose "Any Game State" in the match browser settings, it does not show matches where the player roster is full, such as 8 of 8 - including my own server.
