I will gladly buy a subscription if you show me the numbers for:

-How many new Pro/Premium subscribers have joined since the update

-How many Pro/Premium subscribers have cancelled...

If the numbers were anything above "bad" they would have bragged about it already.

Also - games with large numbers of subscribers are able to sell in-game ads no problem. Quake Live hasn't had...

I know a few clans who are already migrating over to Q3 on Steam.

The only reason no one would care is if they've already left the game in protest of the recent update.

There was no competition, the dev said exposed_ did something he liked in a public match and gave him a Pro subscription.

I witnessed a dev tell exposed_ to restart his game and then he'd be Pro - when exposed_ came back on he thanked the dev.

I asked the dev if I could have free Pro as well and he refused then...

That was one of the users who got updated to Pro for free.
