I have been playing since open beta. I have seen more cheaters (new players using the obvious aimbots hitting 90%+ with lg/rail), these past 3 months than i have for the 2+ years before punkbuster...

Did some testing just out of curiosity:

Gaunt: 15 dmg hits really fast
MG: 10 dmg shoots slower
SG: 98 dmg? tested twice, shoots faster i think?
PG: 30 dmg shoots slower, balls slower
LG: 14...

Acting up for me too. Hope this isn't related to the new hardware they put online yesterday! I don't want any major problems to occur and hold back the updates they were planning this week.

This. I don't think it balances well with the current way Quake Live plays. The 400ms (think that is correct) delay in weapon switch makes the game more thought based. You can't just run around...

I agree, I like to be able to pick between servers, now I am lucky to find one regular non-devpick server.

I used to ping 30-45 to TX now it is between 55-105+. Southeast Comcast cable is my ISP.

While I am not a fan of rune maps, this is how it should be by default. It makes much more sense, and it isnt like you can really abuse it besides handing off a rune to a teammate by self killing...
