I've played a ton of Quake and haven't seen any funky characters in names. It won't let you use them.

There are too many variables to be impressed by a screenshot:

1. Who you're playing with/against.
2. Game mode (Instagib isn't a legitimate form of gameplay any more-so than single player)

I removed Punkbuster a long time ago. It no longer a service on my computer, and haven't had any problems.

I agree that the complaining should end, but if we break down the CTF maps:

Base Siege -> Really bad
Beyond Reality -> Silly
Bloodlust -> Bad
Cobalt Station -> Silly
Courtyard -> Good map...

I'd like higher quality textures. Not to try to make QL more "realistic" or "lifelike" but just for more viewing pleasure.

There are a bunch of issues with tiers in general, but if you play a few of the devpicks (they are unrestricted/ no tiers) you will see how useful tiers are, even though they are far from perfect.
