not really what we are debating. we just want to see our own hud when we are spectating and not the crap default spec hud.
hmm. tryed it. with r_lightmap 1 and vertex at 0 it looks the same.

hehe. i did try this but i like a little variation in light so its not compleatly flat. otherwise some corners disapear.
i know you probably get this alot and i know that some maps are fixed but uniform brightness across all maps would be nice.

cg_compHud 0 or cg_compHud 1.
There should be cg_compHud 3 to show players own 'ingame' hud while spectating
or cg_compHud should respond to filenames. e.g. cg_compHud...
