No. It's irrelevant.

You guys would roll over and die if you seen my config.
My mouse 2 is RL, W is jump, and Spacebar is +back... you would never figure out the rest of it, LMAO.
Just the way I've always done it from the first time I played an fps, when the default movement keys in games were the arrows:P
I set it up so I never have to take my hand off the home keys. I've tried the whole wasd thing... not for me, couldn't get used to it.
I always used mouse2 for jumping and I must say that it makes rocket jumps very, very easy for me.
e and r are strafe left and right respectively
f: +forward
w: jump
s: duck
space: +back
bottom row are weapons
1 and 2 are default
4 through 6 are team chat binds (i just put them wherever I have room)
q: zoom
mwheel down: lg
b and g: more team binds
a and d: do nothing, thinking about moving something to a, d accidently gets hit sometimes, so I'll probably leave it unbound
And... +speed is on a side button on my mouse.
Sounds interesting, will give M2 jump a shot.
Heh general, you can't zoom and duck at the same time :-)
I feel like this config is unnatural/uncomfortable for the fingers.
It closely resembles a known layout:
s and d are strafes, space is back, mouse2 is forward.
Players like this will sometimes jump with the pinky which I presume you are doing, so a key like a or z would be used there for jump. Personally I can't imagine putting my pinky through such a workout as using it for something as common as jump. Ouch. You'd be already used to it though.
Why not use something like, sd strafes, f is forward, space is back, a is jump? Seems like your fingers would be all crowded there.
Also to remain sort of on topic imo this setup would benefit from m2 jump :-P
