high pings
hey i am shady i come from egypt and i play quake live there but there is a pig problem there my ping there is 90 at my best days and becase i have a high ping i cant lg or rail good so i really need a server in egypt plus i have 90 ping in franfut and paris but now its 160 ping idk why so try to fix it plus i have a friend named (palulla18pl) she has a really good ping but 2day some thing strange happened she has 500 at all the server idk why ethr so the ql pings need to be fixed and any one knows any info tell me so i can fix this ping problem

Yeah, I am also from germany and have two different providers (DSL & Cable) and I can say for sure it is not a provider issue. But honestly I think before id will fix it, hell will freeze.

i dont think its internet problem case first my ping was good now its bad and my internet is the same 50kp\sec

since the update last week ist this way, especially ctf is unplayable

same,since the update i got +35+50 to old ping(that was 70-80=best fo me) on every EU server,my ping became unstable(not like before)===>without change anything. Mostly I'm playin INSTA ffa or ctf. Usually I'm only one with so high ping on public servers,rest players have twice less(20-40-60) but its not the point...
Quake Live instagib is not easy on 80-100 ping but on UNSTABLE JUMPING PING ~105+135+120+~ the game becomes UNPLAYABLE...
And dont tell me its my isp cause its NOT!! never changed it but almost every update had problems like this.

It doesnt helped my Ping but the Game runs clear now

Thanks drive_ but my post_process 0 and all video rendering options minimum from the beginning. game runs VERY CLEAR and everything is ok even on ping 200+ ........problem starts when other players join(pings 20-60). Then I became a lagger :-/
to fantazia - sure im playing less and less because of this. ITS SUCKS :-/
time to go back to original q3 or to find something new? :-P
