how about fixing the que bug that literally everyone has been asking to be fixed? I won't even bother complaining about the ****ty new voting system since I know that won't get changed
I only play pickups basically and never noticed this voting problem. I don't see why you can't just buy a pro subscription, start your own server, and play with friends on that if playing on public -free server free game - is such a freaking problem.
You buy a pro subscription, you add friends with subscription = you can play everything quakelive has to offer. On your spawned server location, your preferred gametype, even with your own rules, admin rights, gametype changing modifications.
If playing for free has some limits now, it's about bloody time. Either pay up or get out.

All thats needed is hotkey function for ingame map voting for public servers for the maps that's currently voteable. Which partially already exist both in the game, since it does have graphic ui for voting maps etc. but also in several customized HUD's and or config setups.
Either ID could make this or someone with some greasemonkey experience could cough up a script with possibly fetching the current period's list of maps, thus avoiding the message that goes like "request map can only be played on premium servers".
It will happen, and if u cant wait, hey u can just get subscription, play games on quake, no stress attached.
